The Daily Lesson · Day 1,277

Hurtin'. Still Setting Up Camp.

October 30, 2026 · Day 1,277 · Francis Marion / Buck Hall, South Carolina · 66,501.6 documented miles (through Oct 28)

Campsite down by the river. Body's screaming. And the camp still goes up — because stopping was never the deal.

Filmed on the ride in to Buck Hall, on the edge of the Francis Marion: a low-charge, hurting day at the end of a long run down the coast. The piece is not about a machine failing. It's about a man hurting — and setting up camp anyway.

"Uncomfortable miles cost a lot. Outgrowing yesterday costs everything."

But I'm willing to sacrifice. I did everything — I'm not going to lie. Are you willing to sacrifice? Hell yeah. Everything. To be him.

The question this one leaves with you: what are YOU willing to sacrifice to become who you say you are?
