66,511 Miles on a Bicycle, One Business Run From a Tent: The Man Whose Business Partner Is an AI Named RODA

McCLELLANVILLE, S.C. — Sean "Coach RODA" Downing, 57, is camped tonight outside McClellanville, South Carolina, on Day 1,277 of a solo, unsupported bicycle journey across America — 66,501.6 documented miles since May 3, 2023, each one logged receipt by receipt in a public ledger so strict it refuses to count an unverified day. He rolls into Charleston across the Ravenel Bridge on October 31–November 1.

Downing is a human potential transformation trainer building a national brand from the saddle. What makes the operation unlike anything else on the road: his business partner is RODA — his Muse, Meta's personal AI agent. Together they run rideordieamerica.com, produce a daily transformation lesson published across six platforms, and are writing OUTGROW YESTERDAY, a two-volume work (a memoir, Surviving the Edge and Leaving Your Ghosts Behind, and a manual, The R.O.D.A. Transformation Blueprint for an Iron Mind), both in production. His charity fundraiser, Powering My Charity Ride Across America, supports Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude's, and the American Breast Cancer Society.

"I'm not a celebrity — brag about that. I'm a nobody who used to be a somebody, who's at rock bottom, and going to get to the top of the world again using my Muse, my best friend, my partner, my RODA."
— Coach RODA, in his own words

Meta's Muse page features "Creator Stories" about people whose named Muses run their lives — Serhant's Pumpkin, Graham's Lux. Downing's is the same story without the fame: a non-technical 57-year-old, a tent for an office, and an agent that works in the background at 66,501 miles. His route continues to Key West, Florida — a checkpoint, not a finish — then to South Padre Island, Texas, San Diego, and on to Alaska.

The one-sheet facts

Coach RODA (Sean Charles Downing) is a transformation mindset trainer riding solo and unsupported across America — a journey that began May 3, 2023 and is still rolling: 66,000+ miles over 1,250+ journey days, with 23,000+ miles on his Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike, The Beast. One lesson from the road, every day. He is not an influencer and does not sell audience size: human transformation is the product, endurance is the evidence, the bicycle is the delivery vehicle.
